Ever wanted to take a workshop from me, but I wasn’t teaching when and where you wanted?
Is your schedule too busy to take a workshop at all?
Do you want to learn more about color and how to use it in your work?
Then these online classes are for you!
The classes consist of articles that are chock full of information on a specific topic, followed by several hands-on exercises for you to do in your own time. I break down the topic of color into one concept at a time, so you can work at your leisure and really understand the concept. You can do and re-do the exercise as often as you need to, with no rush, until you are comfortable with the ideas.
I will be adding lessons every month, so you can anticipate new ideas regularly. There will be a short explanation of each lesson so you can decide whether it is a topic of interest to you or not before you commit.
Here are the topics I am working on:
Color Theory: Describing a Color
Color Theory: The Value of Values
Color Theory: The Difference Between Saturation and Value
Color Theory: How to Choose Colors for a Design That You Like
ABC’s of Using a Drum Carder
Color Blending: Basics and Beyond
Using Lanaset Dyes
Painting Rovings that You Can’t Buy
Using Your Hackles for Color Use
And I still have more ideas than I can list!
The sample class and first class will ready in the fall of 2007. Watch for it!
