I have put together a number of color-based kits and art supplies and made them available to you on this website. These are the high-quality art materials that I use in my own work and in my
classes and workshops.
Set of Color Aid Papers - $25
314 colors of silk-screened 2"x 3" papers. They are great to use when studying color and color relationships and also work well when designing. A set of Color Aid papers is used in the first online course.
Lanaset Dyes and Chemicals
Lanaset dyes are made for all protein fibers. They are concentrated synthetic dyes made up of 1:2 metal complex and reactive dyes. They have good wash- and light-fastness, good compatibility, and can mix into a wide range of colors. The dyes can be used either for immersion dyeing or for painting fibers, yarns, and fabrics. The process can be either heating in a pot or steaming to complete the process. The 10 grams of dye powder will dye over 2 pounds of fiber a medium shade in a solid color, or a much greater amount if you dye lighter shades.
